Working with a faculty adviser, the postdoctoral fellow will conduct specialized research in one or more areas of

Atmospheric Science , including atmospheric chemistry; climate and atmosphere-ocean dynamics; cloud microphysics; severe storms; mesoscale meteorology; data assimilation; machine learning; and causal discovery. The research may range from theoretical to applied and involve the use of measurement and/or modeling approaches. This position will also summarize findings and publish research results in journals and present findings at scientific meetings and conferences.The department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in obtaining postdoctoral fellow positions. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.Required Job Qualifications

A PhD in Atmospheric Science or a related field, including chemistry, physics, computer science, and engineering.Preferred Job Qualifications
