The Swift Group is looking for a Software Developer to develop an updated custom production application, which provides workflow and research with the ability to review, disposition, build a profile, and update or nominate candidates to other partner organizations.

Required Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing applications using SQL, Python, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated experience with Relational databases
  • Demonstrated experience with Version control systems such as Git
  • Demonstrated experience using React framework
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience with development in a cloud environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using cloud services
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with working in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impacts and recommend sound solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with authentication and authorization process
  • Demonstrated experience with Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) security tools
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL of data
  • Demonstrated experience with Data Analytics and Visualization
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau and/or Power BI Dashboards
  • HS Diploma
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with scalable computing, relational database services, load balancing, key management systems, autoscaling, and storage services.
  • Demonstrated experience with PostgreSQL database, Redis, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development of system prototypes and proof of concept in order to demonstrate proper application of design principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins.
  • Demonstrated experience providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to production systems to include troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience in full stack development.
  • Demonstrated experience with REST services.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) related certifications or other certifications.
