We strive to be the employer of choice and offer a competitive compensation and benefit package. ?External US:As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of Global I&O team within the FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) IT Department. You will work together with other highly dedicated and skilled colleagues focused on the mission of ensuring a stable, efficient, and compliant IT services. Simplicity and agility is important in everything we do.This position will aid in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the FDB IT infrastructure utilizing the latest technology. The role is responsible for ensuring that IT platforms are secure, reliable, backed up and always available. In addition, the role will also provide the technical delivery of projects / solutions and provide 3rd level Infrastructure support duties as requiredRESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPEProvide the day-to-day BAU support of the FDB Physical, Virtual and Cloud based IT PlatformInterface with the IT/OT teams for coordination and integration of the IT infrastructureAbility to create, follow and implement technical roadmapsDeliver technical activity tasks (design, build, testing) on complex IT and Business projectsDelivery of availability, capacity, and continuity management tasksImplementing security best practiceMonitoring of the FDB platformWork with the established service management tool (ServiceNow) to record, update and manage incidentsSuggest service improvements in process and technologies used by FDB to meet business objectives.Platform patching and vulnerability managementAll other service deliverables dependant on business needsBEHAVIORAL SKILLSExcellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities with a clear delivery focus.Thrives in a dynamic busy environment, can prioritize tasks appropriately and copes with pressure well; can accommodate numerous competing demands.An excellent communicator who is comfortable dealing with a variety of audiences (e.g., Executive Directors, advisers, staff, and 3rd party IT suppliers, and can tailor communications appropriately without approval.Flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing environment with the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining focused and calm.Proven experience of delivering infrastructure design and support within an enterprise environment.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in preferably in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering with 5 years of experienceAssociates degree in preferably in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering with 7 years of experienceHigh School degree in preferably in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering with 9 years of experienceREQUIRED EXPERIENCEProven experience of leading on platform design, configuration, and implementation projectsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft based server operating systems.In-depth knowledge of Citrix administration including F5 load balancingIn-depth knowledge of VMwareIn-depth knowledge of Opensource Technologies specifically Red HatExperience of Azure and Amazon cloud technologiesStrong knowledge of Active Directory management and design including ADD.Strong knowledge of Backup technologies and Storage arraysWorking knowledge of Hyper Converged Infrastructure advantageousWorking knowledge of MSQL Infrastructure advantageousExperience of troubleshooting and using remote access toolsTerminal Server tools and configurationKnowledge of enterprise firewall solutions and their impactIn-depth knowledge of ITIL / awareness of ISO2000027000Life Sciences experience is a plus.FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.
