Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems Management and at least three (3) years of experience, or six (6) years of specialized experience. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for requirements analysis, data analysis, software development, programming, systems testing, implementation, quality assurance, configuration management, and backup/recovery support. The Application Developer will analyze information requirements, perform system oversight and administration, and develop reports and user interface menus to support work requirements and on-demand report generation.

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for requirements analysis, data analysis, software development, programming, systems testing, implementation, quality assurance, configuration management, and backup/recovery. Analyze information requirements and perform system oversight and administration. Develop and implement user interface menus to support work requirements and on-demand report generation. Develop and implement web applications and SharePoint solutions using Microsoft SQL, ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, PowerShell, CSS, JSON, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Designer. Install, configure, and manage virtualization technology such as Hyper-V and VMware. Utilize Microsoft products and VBA for application development. Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). Write technical and user operating procedures. Implement relational databases and manage information using database management systems. Develop reports to support management needs. Apply knowledge of RMF/CS concepts and the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. Develop cloud-based applications. Use Microsoft Access 2013 and newer versions. Stay informed about current DoD or DON Cybersecurity policies. Manage efforts and deadlines of multiple projects concurrently. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems Management and three (3) years of experience; or six (6) years of specialized experience in database applications. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing web applications and SharePoint solutions using Microsoft SQL, ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, PowerShell, CSS, JSON, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Designer. Experience in the installation, configuration, and management of virtualization technology such as Hyper-V and VMware. Proficiency in Microsoft products and VBA. Experience in implementing STIG and IAVA. Experience in writing technical and user operating procedures. Implementation of relational databases. Experience in managing information and developing reports using database management systems. Working knowledge of RMF/CS concepts and the A&A process. Experience with cloud-based applications and development. Experience with Microsoft Access 2013 and newer versions. Knowledge of current DoD or DON Cybersecurity policies. Ability to manage efforts and deadlines of multiple projects concurrently. DoD Cyberspace work role: Software Developer (621); proficiency level: Intermediate IAW DoDM 8140 series. Microsoft certification with emphasis on platform or system being supported in this PWS. Preferred Skills:

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with DoD and military environments is a plus.
