First State Community Bank is looking for a highly organized and meticulous candidate to fill the role of
Regulatory Data Specialist . The
Regulatory Data Specialist position will be responsible to assist with data collection as well as entering HMDA data into the appropriate reporting system.
Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
Professionalism Display excellent verbal and written communication skills during communication with HMDA personnel, loan personnel and audit/compliance department staff Assist the HMDA specialist reviewing loan documentation and reporting consumer and commercial dwelling-secured loans Accountability
Data entry of all HMDA reporting information in the appropriate database reporting software Research and resolve identified exceptions Initiative
Verify applicable loan documentation supports the reportable data Enter exceptions into the monitoring system for tracking and resolution by the branch locations Adaptability
Work closely with lending personnel to ensure all required documentation is received and, when necessary, corrections are made to the file Update resolved exceptions in the monitoring system Perform other department duties as assigned What You Can Expect
