OPEN POSITION:Family Nurse Practitioner
SCHEDULE:- Full-Time- Monday through Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm- No Weekends- No Evenings- No On-Call
COMPENSATION:- $65 to $90 per hour, depending on experience and credentials- Loan Forgiveness Plan- Malpractice Insurance- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance- CME Allowance- Paid Time Off- 403b w/ 6% Match- Full Details Negotiable
LOCATION:Lancaster, California
COMPANY PROFILE:This community health center (FQHC) opened in 2011 and currently employs 30+ providers across a variety of specialties - pediatrics, ob/gyn, infectious disease, orthopedics, behavioral health, podiatry, pain management - as well as full-scope primary care.
They operate 4 clinic locations, with a robust support staff of clinical and administrative team members.
They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:The new FNP will provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages.
FNPs see between 16 and 24 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- evaluation and treatment of patients- care plan management- assessment of acute needs- chronic condition management- review laboratory and other test results- initiate specialist referrals- participate in inter-departmental case conferences- participate in care team, provider, and staff meetings- provide health education to patients and families- participate in community outreach events
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:- California NP license- FNP certification- DEA- 2+ years advanced practice experience
