About being our Stormwater Project EngineerPsomas has an opportunity for a Project Engineer with a focus on stormwater management, utilities, and grading to join our team in Seattle or Tacoma. Our engineering group is currently involved in projects ranging from storm drainage design, water quality treatment, LID retrofits, and trails, to fish passage, flood reduction plans, and restoration. Our ideal candidate will bring their experience along with a collaborative spirit to hit the ground running on both current and upcoming projects.Our Pacific Northwest Group has an excellent reputation with our municipal stormwater clients in providing creative, cost-effective solutions in stormwater management. We offer an exciting opportunity to lead innovative stormwater projects as well as contribute to larger integrated project assignments. As an integrated design firm, we offer a unique opportunity for our engineers to work in partnership with other disciplines on a variety of endeavors.

Responsibility Highlights for our Stormwater Project EngineerProvide modeling, analysis, and documentation of project compliance in accordance with local jurisdictions and governing Stormwater Manual requirements (such as Department of Ecology or King County Surface Water Design Manual).Serve as engineering lead and project manager for stormwater on in-house integrated design projects and municipal stormwater projects.Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates.Helping with QA/QC work of junior stormwater engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Stormwater Project EngineerB.S. degree in Civil Engineering.P.E. licensed in the state of Washington.5+ Years of Progressive Professional Experience, with a focus in stormwater.

Preferred Qualifications for our Stormwater Project EngineerExperience mentoring junior staff.Extensive experience with stormwater regulations, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and infrastructure design.AutoCAD, Civil 3D proficiency.
