Position Summary:

The Business Administration department is seeking part-time faculty who can teach at least one course per semester in accounting (both base financial and managerial courses, as well as potential upper-level courses) and/or personal finance, beginning in the Fall 2023 semester. Experience with online instruction, both synchronous and asynchronous, is a plus, as is familiarity with the Canvas Learning Management System. Teaching opportunities include both traditional face-to-face as well as online sections.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include: Assessing student progress in meeting course learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, holding in-person or virtual office hours, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Required Qualifications:

A master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, OR an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and at least two years of full-time professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching accounting courses and availability to teach face-to-face or online synchronous courses during business hours (8:30-4:30).
