Director of Sales

will oversee and directly impact key aspects of leasing revenue generation, leading and developing our leasing teams and supporting other key initiatives alongside the property’s General Manager and regional support teams. This role will build, lead, and champion a strategic sales culture for the team to meet individual and team goals.

This is an in-person position located on-site of the property.

What You’ll Do:Uphold Sentral’s standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer serviceEstablish rapport with residents and guests so they always feel lovedFacilitate daily leasing huddles, discussing leasing goals, host recruitment, prioritizing available units, and soliciting feedback to stay on top of the game!Provide leasing training and continually provide feedback on all opportunities for improvementBe responsible for accuracy of content and reporting provided by leasing teamInspire the team by walking the walk every day! Provide excitement, motivation, and support through transparency and clearly defined strategies to ensure team’s successDisplay solid understanding of reasons for not leasing on each prospect – report out for supportActively participate in each tour by making introductions and double closingProvide oversight and coordination of welcoming new residents, and assist with office management and clerical tasksAttract and retain top leasing talent within the local marketServe as backup to concierge team and homeshare efforts related to guest check-ins and outsRecord and update details of prospective residents, current residents, and guests into the property management software in a timely and detailed mannerAssist in opening and closing procedures and ensure they are completedAssess property and inform maintenance team of any need for repair or cleaningAdvertise available homes and conduct property tours as part of marketing activitiesComplete lease applications and assist with verification of application information; inform prospective residents of resultsInspect apartment homes to ensure readiness prior to resident move-inLiaise with residents and guests to provide information and address their questions and concernsMaintain and store documentation effectivelyAccept rent payments, security deposits, and other applicable feesFollow all local, city, and federal regulationsAssist in conducting market surveys and shop competitive communitiesPerform other related duties and assignments as needed and assignedSkills And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferredExperience as a General Manager or Community Manager of Class A Communities preferred.A minimum of five years of experience leasing apartments or a combination of education with customer service experience is preferredA drive towards high-performance sales and a passion to be first in classAnalytical with the ability to swiftly pivot when market or team dynamic changesMust possess strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and sales abilityDemonstrated ability to lead teamsStrong oral and written communication skillsGreat time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, some under deadlines and resource constraintsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsEntrepreneurial spirit and drive to support Sentral in the start-up phaseComputer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related communication toolsMust be willing to participate in training in order to comply with new or existing lawsDemonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problemAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsSentral BenefitsHealthcare Coverage: We are committed to providing comprehensive healthcare plans (medical, dental, vision, and other benefit options) to our team members and their families.Time Off: Sentral fosters a flexible work lifestyle by offering paid time off, paid holidays, & volunteer hours to all full-time team members.Matching 401K: To help you reach your savings goals, we offer a 401(k) plan with a match.Career Development: We offer extensive learning and development opportunities to support growth.The following requirements are intended to reflect the expected work environment and physical demands of the role.
