It’s the calling of our lives and it compels us to keep moving forward.Job OverviewThe Activities Coordinator position will be responsible for oversight of the Day Center Activities and ensuring the Activities Team carries out the activity program. The Activities Coordinator is a member of the PACE Interdisciplinary team (IDT) and is responsible for actively participating in all care coordination activities including Assessments and Care Planning. Responsibilities include coordinating, supervising and implementing all day center activities and social programs for frail elderly and functionally impaired older adults at the Day Center in an integrated program setting. The Activities Coordinator is responsible for utilizing a variety of techniques including but not limited to arts, crafts, reading, sports, games, dance and movement, drama, music, and community outings. The activity program shall also provide a planned schedule of social and other purposeful independent or group activities. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of daily, monthly and special events activities, therapeutic activity program, to improve or maintain physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual functioning in order to facilitate full participation in life.
