We are looking for talented and motivated freelance journalists to join our global team and contribute high-quality articles on a flexible basis.Job Description:As a Freelance Journalist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting news articles for publication in Decrypt. You will work closely with an assigning editor to produce content that aligns with our standards and engages our readers. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to one of the most trusted and fastest growing news brands in the emerging tech space.Ideal candidates are seasoned journalists with a deep understanding of artificial intelligence (AI, ML, NLP concepts and tools), science (biotech and health), cutting-edge R&D, novel research, and a passion for breaking news and telling thought-provoking stories.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation: Research and write compelling news stories on a wide range of topics including AI, biohacking (health tech and life extension), robotics, space (exploration, colonization), and other emerging technologies.Pitching Ideas: Develop and pitch story ideas to the editorial team, demonstrating an understanding of current news trends and audience interests.
