Job Summary:This robot programmer position is responsible for providing technical production support and developing processes for the manufacture of HVAC centrifugal chillers. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with well-developed problem solving and interpersonal skills, manage process improvements, and influence others in a cross-functional environment.

Where is the work:This position requires a full-time onsite presence at our La Crosse, WI facility and is considered safety-sensitive.

Responsibilities:Program and simulation of FANUC robotsComplete initial robotic programs offline prior to assemblyDebug robotic cell on assembly floorParticipate in Robot Risk Assessment and safety planningParticipate in a team-oriented phase-gate processMaintain a high level of communication with weekly task list updates and reporting

Qualifications:Associate’s degree in automation or robot programming related field preferred; relevant work experience of 3-5 years in lieu of a degree will also be considered.Experience with Fanuc controls and systems preferred.Must have the ability to write, modify and troubleshoot industrial robot programming.

Key Competencies:Prior industrial manufacturing experience preferredAbility to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization is required. Must be able to speak and write clearly and conciselyPossession of initiative to further develop technical skills, interpersonal skills and career path.Must have strong work ethic with a positive attitude, and be customer-focused, team-oriented and results-driven
