The Meetings Management Consultant (MMC T1) is responsible for providing strategic recommendations, implementations, and ongoing maintenance of client’s M&E technology platform, most frequently Cvent. There are 3 main areas of focus: Consulting & Project Management, System Maintenance & Governance, and Technology Implementations. The MMC also advises and implements business process/workflow automation, optimizes current technology uses, and recommends solutions for better technology adoption. This role interfaces directly with client’s and their stakeholders and could include troubleshooting, user training, and issue resolution. The MMCs often acts as an internal and external SME on M&E technology platforms and support sales and marketing activities.What you will do here:Consulting & Project Management

Manage and maintain positive client relationshipsNurture existing client relationships to generate new opportunities to expand the accountManage or oversee multiple projects effectivelyAct as strategic advisor to clients recommending solutions that align with their priorities and business needsSupport projects for clients seeking assistance with Cvent implementations, optimization, and SMMP initiativesSupport enhancements or innovations of new SOP’s for strategic initiativesRecommend automation enhancements to create process efficiencies and adoptionPrepare and present consulting deliverables such as proposals, business cases, deployment plans, meeting agendas, labor/time reports, SWOT analyses, RACI charts, and ROI estimates, as necessary to support client and business requirementsCoordinate meetings between client, internal, and/or technology providersEngineer workflow and business processes; diagramming in VisioAct as liaison with tech providers to keep current on new features and releases; convey information to relevant stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for new or expanded ISG service offerings (including opportunities for M&IW strategic partners)Self-manage through difficult situations and projects pulling in ISG resources as necessaryWork with other teams on strategic projects as necessaryTechnology Implementations

Partner with Lead Project Manager on all aspects of the projectProvide Cvent configuration and testing support of M&IW’s and clients’ Cvent accountsConsolidate and organize deliverables necessary for implementationAct as liaison between the client stakeholder team and CventCreate and support user training or be part of ‘train the trainer’ programSupport the development & execution of a technology roll-out communication planSystem Maintenance and Governance

Responsible for overall system "wellness" and maintenanceManage process automation gatekeeping (Ex: Back-end status changes, voiding MRFs, etc.)User management: Add and delete users, manage user permissions and visibility, monitor user access, usage and behaviors, manage available logins/seatsAct as company ‘Power-User’ responsible for user adoptionProvide training & support on the way the client uses Cvent and other applicable best practicesRespond to user inquiries requiring client-specific account and process expertise, troubleshooting, or issue escalation/resolutionSMM related system maintenance and routine updates/edits: Meeting Request Form (MRF), Event Portal, calendars, custom fields, workflow automation (triggers, notifications, statuses, etc.)Sourcing (CSN), Event Management and Survey Module enterprise settings and template (Event, RFP, Survey) management/maintenanceEnterprise reporting support: Recommend data accuracy and integrity practices (Ex: Audit and spot check data), assist in creating enterprise-level reports, and clean-up/organization of saved reports (Ex: Establishing report naming conventions, removing unused reports)Maintain any existing company specific platform/Cvent documentation, workflows and SOPsServe as the primary point of contact with the Cvent account team on enterprise-related system usage and strategic oversightManage product feedback including submitting or escalating tickets to resolve system bugs and tracking and monitoring progress towards client-specific feature requests/updatesWho you will work with:Reporting to the Sr Director – ISGInternal team members from ISGInternal team members from multiple departmentsExternal Clients and Key StakeholdersVendor PartnersWhat you will bring:REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience using Cvent, with expertise in the SMMP module of Cvent.Experience with different Cvent modules including CSN, Events, Budgets, including back end configurations.BA or BS degree (or equivalent 4-6 years of meetings industry experience)Technology proficient, understands the use of web-based applications and has a general understanding of database concepts (for reporting purposes)General understanding of meeting-related business processesProficient with Microsoft productivity tools, including VisioWhat we provide:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance options401K planPaid holidaysAccrued personal time off for vacation and sick leaveLaptop, additional monitor, and mobile phoneGlobal Giveback program for volunteer serviceRemote Office / Work from home, or option to work in our corporate headquarters located near MilwaukeeWho we are:M&IW is a global event management firm specializing in virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences of all shapes and sizes as well as consulting and enterprise strategies.
