SUMMARY
The MTSS Facilitator will promote and facilitate the MTSS process for supporting all students in the areas of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Evaluate student data to improve identified areas of need, make data-informed and evidence-based suggestions and solutions, and provide Tier 1 professional development. Assist with Professional Learning Communities to identify data, solutions, and resources. Facilitate Tier 2 and 3 support, as well as act as a case manager. Work in collaboration with all stakeholders to further the equity work in the areas of Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS), restorative practices and the fair and equitable treatment of students of color in the school.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s DegreeValid Arizona Teaching CertificateArizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardFive years experience in teaching, counseling, or providing behavioral interventions with diverse student populations at any levelExperience facilitating staff development in the areas of classroom management, Tier 1 instruction, Tier 2 and 3 interventions, positive climate and culture, and interpreting dataKnowledge of the implementation of the Response to Intervention for academics, social emotional and behavior and the ability to communicate this process with staffPrevious experience with academic behavior interventionsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Educational Administration, subject matter, or related fieldKnowledge and/or experience training in cognitive coaching or other similar coaching frameworks or methodologiesKnowledge of Restorative Practices and Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS)Knowledge of and/or experience as a trainer in the most recent Arizona State Standards or willingness to complete this requirement within one yearBilingual (English/Spanish)ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIREProof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.COMMENTSEffective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEARLocation: Multiple sites district-wideClassification: Exempt CoordinatorsFTE: VariesWork Calendar: 10.5 monthPositions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.Job Contact Information
