Fogo de Chão is conducting a search for a visionary Data Leader as the company pursues high-growth market opportunities. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director Data is a critical role responsible for establishing a modern data ecosystem to create near-term value and long-term competitive advantage for Fogo de Chão by enabling trusted data insights across the Enterprise.Key Responsibilities

Envisioning, establishing, and championing a data strategy with a target state architecture that moves data gravity to a commercially-centric, cross-application-sourced data layer including tools, governance, processes, and sustainment methods.Building a short- and long-term roadmap enabling commercial strategy, prioritizing and accelerating the highest value opportunities in close partnership with the Executive Leadership Team. This includes but is not limited to:Collaborating across functions to build and communicate a plan to deliver on commercial objectives with reasonable, reliable timeline and investment estimates.Leveraging data from various platforms (CRM, CDP, credit card processors, web, industry data aggregators, etc.) to develop disruptive insights, actionable recommendations, and strategic next steps.Developing data science capabilities to enable growth at speed and scale, targeting solutions to business opportunities and barriers.Determining how to best leverage data science, machine learning, AI and other analytical techniques to accelerate value creation and return on investment.Strong partnership with the IT team on infrastructure, security and environment/integration considerations.Experience Guidelines

Career

8-10 years of Data Engineering & Analytics experience; at least 5 years in data-focused leadership positions.Experience conceiving, implementing and continually improving enterprise data management programs including storage, analysis, transformation including enrichment, governance, visualization, and intelligence.3-5 years of cloud-based data engineering experience including cloud data warehouses and open-source platforms including experience with AWS, Azure, data modeling, cloud data storage and data visualization tools and techniques.Demonstrated ability using data / systems to drive commercial results.Experience in high-growth businesses.Consumer industry experience required; restaurant experience strongly preferred.Private Equity or Management Consulting experience a plus.Characteristics

Undergraduate degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, data science or a related field; MS, MBA, or related advanced degree is a plus.Location and Travel Requirements

The Vice President of Enterprise Data will be an onsite role, requiring travel on occasion.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time Team Members on the first of the month following their start date.
