Director, Operations - Integrated Kidney Care (IKC)
will report directly to the Vice President of Integrated Kidney Care. This leader will operate across both government and commercial VBC lanes leading functions to ensure the overarching success of programs in the Virginia and North Carolina area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of business strategy, engaging with internal and external partners, aggregating and synthesizing analysis, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning, innovation, and execution. This individual will organize management processes, drive business communications internally and externally, and support teammate engagement. This teammate will partner with DaVita Kidney Care, Nephrologists, supporting business functions and operating teams.DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) is the leading value based care provider for patients with kidney disease. We support patients with kidney disease holistically to address the totality of their healthcare needs, ultimately reducing medical complications and overall healthcare cost. will help guide business innovation and operations to new levels of performance.Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of top performance and desire to help improve our overall healthcare system.Candidate must be located in Northern Virginia or Eastern North Carolina. The role is a hybrid role – travel in the market is determined by market needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize IKC central team efforts and collaboration across lanesPrepare and participate in monthly operating reviews with senior leadershipSupport internal/external communication by helping to craft and deliver key messagesHighlight management process gaps or improvement opportunities, then implement solutionsLead critical projects working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadershipCollaborate across teams to perform analyses and synthesize resultsWork across operational and innovation teams to advance best in class capabilities in the marketPrior experience as Director of Strategy, General Management, Operations, or similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives or prior experience within healthcare or operations leadership.Experience leading the following:
Design, implementation, & administration of operating strategies, operating models, governance models, and service delivery models desiredContinuous improvement processes & initiativesIdeation & innovation processes & developmentBudget administrationDemonstrated track record in the following:
