Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and Next.js.Collaborate with team to develop software solutions based on product and business requirements.Assist in deriving software product requirements and analyze for completeness and feasibility.Design, prototype, develop, document, and unit test solutions on a project-by-project basis.Communicate solutions thoroughly through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.Write testable, scalable, and efficient code.Aid in identifying problem areas and refactoring solutions for scalability and to reduce technical debt.Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.Assist the delivery team with any issues/challenges related to design, code, and usability.Collaborate with a distributed delivery team to share best practices.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Follow best practice software development lifecycle and methodologies.Protect operations by keeping internal and non-public information confidential.Perform other duties, as assigned.What you already have:
Education, Experience, and Licensing:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and equivalent relevant work experience required.3+ years of experience designing and developing software solutions using React.js and Next.js required.1+ years' experience developing software solutions that support marketing activities required.Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance preferred.Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.Strong knowledge and use with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them.Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for efficient and responsive styling.Familiarity with version control using GitLab.Preferred experience with deployment using Vercel.Experience managing code versioning, review, build, and deploy using technologies such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.Demonstrate strong organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.Ability to think critically and objectively.Desire to live Slide's Core Values.What Slide offers to you:
