OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Registered Nurses to support Clement J Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 5000 W National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53295. Multiple shift schedules are available. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesThe Spinal Cord Injury Unit services shall be provided in accordance with the policies of the VA healthcare system where assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Deliver safe care to assigned spinal cord injured patientsDocument thorough skin assessments and complex wound dressing changesPoised and articulated in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgroundsWorks cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignmentsParticipates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of ColumbiaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationThree (3) years of recent Spinal Cord Injury RN work experience is requiredNo sponsorship available All candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
