The Cardiac Surgery Step-Down Unit is a 26-bed unit that provides care to adult patients requiring pre- and post-operative care for heart surgery. There are 22 private and 4 semi-private beds, all with telemetry monitoring.What you need to be successful:Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required; BSN preferred.One year of nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.Current CPR certification is required.Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.Member of a professional organization.Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
