TS/SCI with PolygraphSuprTEK is looking for a professional, experienced System Administrator to join our team! The individual will be responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity. Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security as it relates to users. Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment. Support new infrastructure projects. Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.Responsibilities:Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.Experience with networking and switch configuration skills and experience applying STE/STN compliance requirements to servers and network devices.Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.Configure and manage Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Qualifications:Ten (10) years of System Administration experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.Very strong scripting skills (Python and Bash).Experience with Ansible and writing playbooks.AWS expertise.Well-versed with Kubernetes.Experience in a Linux environment.Configuration: Ansible/Puppet/Salt (required).Containerization: Docker or Kubernetes (highly desired).Monitoring: Nagios/Splunk (configuration of monitoring).Familiarity and experience with some of the tech stacks used by AEA Development teams.Load Balancing: HAproxy/httpd etc.Web Servers: Tomcat/Nginx/Java etc.Database: MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL etc.AWS certification (Cloud Architect or SysOps Administrator).Preferred Qualifications:Any Networking Certification.Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching (CCT Routing and Switching) certification focuses on the skills required for onsite support and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches, and operating environment.About SuprTEK:Since 1996, SuprTEK has performed exceptionally well on a multitude of DoD and government agency contracts.
