MoneyThumb is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team. MoneyThumb enables lenders and accountants to instantly convert and analyze PDF financial documents. For lenders, we summarize data into an actionable scorecard that can be used to determine an applicant's creditworthiness. Our patent-pending Thumbprint® fraud analysis product analyzes third party PDF documents to verify their authenticity. For accountants, we upload transactions into popular accounting formats, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and others. Our enterprise product is built on Java, both as a desktop application and Software-as-a-Service.

MoneyThumb is becoming the most important tool for lenders by helping them get to "Yes" or "No" faster than their competition. Our software simplifies a process that has historically taken hours down to just a few seconds. We do this by enabling underwriters to instantly spread bank statements into an underwriting scorecard that includes all essential lending benchmarks.

Position Summary

Responsible for increasing the MoneyThumb client base and revenue by identifying and qualifying prospective new clients through a multi-touch approach (outbound calls, email sequencing, and social selling).

The successful candidate should have outstanding communication skills, a high level of resilience, and a growth mindset.

In this role, you will be:

Researching to identify and qualify prospective customers and opportunity sizes;Contacting potential new leads (warm and cold) via telephone, email, text, or video;Scheduling and conducting discovery calls;Scheduling and supporting Account Executives during sales demos for qualified prospects;Enthusiastically communicating value propositions to potential customers;Identifying where MoneyThumb's solutions can help our customers and prospects across different markets;Building relationships and initiating follow-up to convert leads to opportunities;Managing a sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed goals;Providing constructive feedback on improving effectiveness of BDR role and internal systems;Collaborating with team members to share learnings and best practices;Work with Marketing team to improve reach and engagement;Maintaining client profiles in CRM; andPerforming other duties as needed to further team goals.Our Ideal Candidate

Must Haves:

Polished written and verbal communication skills;Strong online research and lead development skills;High level of persuasion, resilience, and tenacity (with a strong desire to sell!);Goal-driven growth mentality and self-motivation to meet and exceed sales quotas;Phenomenal interpersonal skills;Self-organization, time management, and follow-through;Ability to learn and use new software programs quickly; andAbility to thrive in a rapid-growth, changing environment.Nice to Have:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field;Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce or related CRM;Business Domain (FinTech) knowledge/experience is a plus;SaaS sales experience is a plus;Familiarity with Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) is another plus; andFamiliarity with financing or lending is a plus.What We Have for You
