As a Global Account Manager at Lenovo, you will be responsible for managing and expanding named strategic accounts in the Silicon Valley region. You will work closely with high-profile clients, leveraging Lenovo's comprehensive product and service portfolio to meet their needs and drive business growth. This role requires a consultative selling approach, a deep understanding of client business processes, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.Role ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within assigned global accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and service delivery, to develop tailored solutions for clients.Consultative Selling:
Understand clients' business challenges and objectives, providing consultative advice and proposing effective solutions. Present Lenovo’s product and service offerings in a compelling manner, demonstrating value and ROI.Market and Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats. Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.Account Management:
Monitor account performance, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and service level expectations. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, opportunities for improvement, and future plans. Build, present, and execute on Account Plan Reviews (APR).Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline reports. Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, sales activities, and market conditions to senior management.Basic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the technology sector.Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving sales targets.Preferred Requirements:Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in Dynamics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.A deep understanding of the Silicon Valley market and its unique business landscape.This position will be based in the Silicon Valley Northern California territory must reside in or around region.
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $147,000 - $180,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
