Senior Product Manager

Farm-ng is a robotics startup based in Redwood City and Watsonville, California. We specialize in creating general-purpose farm robots that promote sustainable farming practices. Our robotics platform is fully configurable and can be extended with the Amiga Development Kit (ADK), allowing developers and ag tech companies to build innovative products and services. We work with small and medium farms, organic growers, and research institutions.Role DescriptionFarm-ng is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will drive the development and delivery of innovative robotics solutions for sustainable farming. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in product management, particularly in the technology or agricultural sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of market needs, user experience, and product lifecycle management.Responsibilities:Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and define product requirements.Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with user needs.Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement and iteration.Prioritize features and enhancements based on business and customer impact.Develop metrics and KPIs to measure product success and drive data-informed decision-making.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.Qualifications:7+ years of product management experience, with extensive network in agriculture.Proven track record of shipping successful products from concept to launch.Strong understanding of software and hardware development processes.Experience with agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise product requirements.Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Knowledge of robotics software and hardware is a plus.Bonus Points For:Success in the Ag industry.Passion for sustainable farming practices and the ag sector.Experience working with small and medium farms, organic growers, and research institutions.Background in market research and user experience design.
