The Sr. Financial Analyst works as a key team member of the global FP&A team, business partnering with the functional heads and the operational global finance teams; working alongside Global EVP Finance and key Global Executive team members to drive business growth and profitability through effective financial management, planning, forecasting, reporting, systems and controls for the overall organization.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead financial role supporting the functional heads in the areas of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, long term planning to support the global initiatives.Work with functional leadership teams to develop detailed, accurate and timely budgets/forecasts.Provide financial support and analysis for capital investment projects, including cash flow and return on investment analysis.Develop cost controls and expense targets, manage and report on progress.Analyze financial statements and provide recommendations.Development of financial models and scenarios.Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and BOD.Collaborate with cross functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.Develop and monitor KPI’s critical to the business, monitor performance and recommend actions to enhance operational performance.Provide financial guidance on customer contract terms and business impacts in conjunction with the global controllership and project management teams.Ensure appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.Ensure timely, accurate and useful financial and management reporting to both internal organization and parent company (AGC Japan).Participate in the coordination of financial audits, SOX Controls and the other projects as needed.Actively monitor financial risks and ensure that risk mitigation strategies are in place.Interact with external consultants, auditors, and insurance representatives.Identify key priorities and problems, obtain relevant information, identify root causes and generate alternative solutions to reach sound management decisions.Other ad hoc projects as needed.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting with a MBA strongly preferred.Expertise in IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to present financial information to non-financial team.A minimum 10 years’ experience in an analytical role, preferably in life sciences.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.Strong modeling skills.COMPENSATION:
