Position Title: Financial Management ConsultantLocation: Arlington, VACompany: Lynch ConsultantsJob Type: Full-TimeProposed Salary Range $84,000 – 102,000.00 + bonusExperience Level: Mid-Level (4-6 years)Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in financial management, accounting, budget management, audit, internal controls, and federal consulting. A secret clearance is a plus, but not required. This role involves working closely with clients to analyze, develop, and implement effective financial strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:· Provide expert financial management consulting services to federal clients.· Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.· Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.· Perform audits and assessments of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.· Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management strategies.· Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored solutions.· Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.· Support the implementation of financial management systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.· Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management and federal consulting.

Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGFM) is a plus.· 4-6 years of experience in financial management, accounting, budget management, audit, and internal controls.· Proven experience in federal consulting, with a strong understanding of federal financial management regulations and practices.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.· Proficiency in financial management software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.· Secret clearance is a nice-to-have but not required.
