Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager
We are in search of an experienced and dedicated Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to lead our BI and Analytics team. This crucial role will be responsible for managing our data strategy in the healthcare industry, directly influencing our organization's growth. The Manager will supervise the transformation of raw healthcare data into actionable insights that will guide strategic decisions. Working closely with local and offshore teams, you will oversee tasks and ensure efficient communication across various time zones. We're looking for a skilled, independent leader capable of supervising a team of data analysts and proficient in managing healthcare data's complexities. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the local and offshore BI and Analytics team, leading the design, development, and maintenance of essential components such as AAS cubes, SQL databases, PowerBi dashboards, and reports. Supervise the design and development of Power BI dashboards, ensuring these tools effectively meet the organization's healthcare information needs. Lead the development and maintenance of Azure Analysis Services cubes, aligning with business requirements to optimize data accessibility and reliability. Oversee ETL development and data management, emphasizing healthcare data quality and accuracy, particularly regarding EMR data. Direct the efficient utilization of Azure cloud services for data storage, transformation, and analysis tasks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional healthcare teams to define business requirements, establish KPIs, and develop data-driven strategies. Lead the identification, analysis, and interpretation of trends or patterns in complex healthcare data sets to direct business decisions. Evaluate and propose enhancements for existing data collection and analytics systems, focusing on EMR system integrations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role, with 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, AAS cube, SQL, PowerBi, and ETL processes. Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts, particularly in healthcare. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the talent for translating complex healthcare data into understandable insights and recommendations. Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work both independently and as part of a team, including managing offshore teams. Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Preferred Skills: Masters degree in a related field. Certifications in Microsoft Azure, PowerBi, or related BI tools. Extensive experience with EMR system integration and a thorough understanding of clinical data standards and compliance requirements. Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling. Experience in the Healthcare Industry & EMR integration. Proficiency with Big Data tools, such as Python or R.
