Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our interdisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in one of the following areas: Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, or Organ Transplantation.

Responsibilities:

Design and conduct original research projects in the respective field, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.

Develop and implement advanced computational models, algorithms, or experimental protocols to address complex research questions.

Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical and computational techniques.

Prepare high-quality manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at conferences and seminars.

Contribute to the writing of grant proposals and progress reports.

Mentor and supervise junior group members involved in research projects.

Collaborate with internal and external research groups, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Computational Biology, AI/Machine Learning, Organ Transplantation.

Strong programming skills and experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C++, MATLAB).

Proven record of research accomplishments, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with big data analysis, machine learning techniques, or computational modeling.

Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases.

Knowledge of organ transplantation procedures, immunology, or regenerative medicine (for organ transplantation-related projects).

Prior experience in grant writing and project management.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of extension based on performance. Competitive compensation and benefits package will be provided.
