LEAD COMPREHENSIVE SCHEDULER - (Temple Faculty Physicians/40 hours days)

The Lead Comprehensive Scheduler has a broad range of scheduling skills across TFP and Hospital Systems. Provides expertise in scheduling across a broad band of requestors. Serves as liaison to internal and external entities, including, but not limited to TFP, Fox Chase, Jeanes, SNF's, Rehab Areas, Unions. In addition, serves as the Liaison to McKesson and continually works on improving the quality of both scheduling and messaging. The Lead is a critical thinker who identify opportunities to improve access. Guides and mentors new staff and works collaboratively with the Manager to ensure patient appointment needs are met. Performs QA on all staff that are part of the Comprehensive Scheduling team and all schedulers that reside in the practice. Collaboratively cross teams to ensure that all teams are integrated and work closely with Leadership to ensure the core missions related to access are met. The Lead works to build relationships with administration and outside scheduling / messaging vendors.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Bachelors Degree : in a Healthcare related program (Preferred)

Experience

5 years experience in Healthcare with an emphasis on scheduling (Required)

1 year experience in leading a scheduling program / department or broader (Required)

Must have successfully functioned in the role of Comprehensive Scheduler II (Required)
