A day in the life of a Senior Android Engineer at CalendlyYou enjoy collaborating with Product and Design partners to create solutions that will deliver a great experience to users. Top candidates are proactive, stakeholder-minded, and empathetic. You and your team members impact every aspect of development from design, delivery, and maintenance. You write clean code and work closely with product managers to plan and implement complete solutions. You are comfortable working in technologies such as
Kotlin, Compose, and Android UI design.On a typical day,

will be working on:Advocating for strong foundations in technical architecture while maintaining high velocityWorking end-to-end to deliver features - from discovery, product design, technical design, coding, testing, shipping, and iteration based on collaborator feedbackReviewing tech specs and pull requests from other specialistsImproving our engineering systems and processes; we operate an agile process with sprints and iterate continuouslyMentoring and coaching other team membersWhat do we need from you?7+ years as an Android Engineer developing native applications at a SaaS or technology companyProficiency in interacting with RESTful APIs from mobile applicationsExperience working with KotlinExperience building Android UI (XML, Compose)Knowledge of the MVVM architectural patternExcited to craft simple software solutions to sophisticated problemsStrive to craft clean, reliable and highly maintainable code.Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this timeWhat's in it for you?Ready to make a serious impact?
