About The Role

Our Project Managers are responsible for the day-to-day program management of their client account(s). They partner with account leadership to deliver operational discipline & delivery excellence, speed to market, resource optimization, and profitability management to their business(es). Project Managers are efficient operators, who demonstrate strong team management abilities, as well as business and financial acumen. They are highly organized and accountable leaders, who are able to build relationships and collaborate with/draw on the expertise of Ogilvy’s vast resources and capabilities.

What You’ll Do

The key day-to-day project contact with day to day client leads, creative teams and other agency partnersManaging client objectives and expectations and communicating changes/directions to internal team membersDeveloping project timelines and ensuring the team is tracking toward the right milestonesWorking integrally with all internal team members to facilitate the process of developing effective strategies and briefs that lead to great work on briefInfluencing the efficiency and quality of work and advocating for the agency/client relationshipMobilizing and driving the integrated team towards forward progress, action and resultsEffectively presenting work from a delivery standpointUnderstanding staffing and scoping requirementsOwning the client project budget and working with the Program Director to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resourcesOwning project management/workflow system data entry and reportingIdentifying potential project risks and developing contingency plansServing as a mentor/coach and/or direct manager to more junior team members and supporting the development of these team membersDeveloping and maintaining high levels of team effectiveness (trust, communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, engagement)Understanding & respecting every department’s role in delivering great work & building relationshipsPartnering with other teams in the Ogilvy/WPP network bringing forth a full solution for our clientsWhat You’ll Need

2-5 years of related, client facing industry experience managing “the making” or delivery of great workAgency experience preferredIdeally, several different account experiences delivering programs in at least 3 different capabilities (B2C, B2B, retail, CPG, digital, tech, etc.)Proven negotiation skillsExperience forming strong client relationshipsDemonstrated capability to get things done on budget and on timeAbility to manage multiple workstreams and projects at the same timeDeveloping financial acumen and business growth mindsetAn understanding of the dynamics and workings of the agency’s process as it relates to the client’s businessStrong internal relationships (particularly with creative team)Accountability and calm, confident presenceHow We’ll Support You
