Peak Ventures is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Manager with a deep understanding of data analytics and a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in data visualization, statistical analysis, and experience with business intelligence tools.This role is pivotal in driving our data initiatives and supporting our search engine monetization efforts with robust data analysis and predictive modeling.About Us
Peak Ventures drives customer growth to its informational sites and brands through its acquisition platform, looking for opportunities to refine user intent and provide them with ad-experiences that will be relevant to them.Our data stack uses Python, Snowflake, DBT, Prefect.io, Preset.io, Kubernetes, Azure, and AWS to help internal teams understand the market performance developments and make business decisions every day.The Role
Analyze and interpret data from various business operations to identify trends and patterns. Conduct detailed analysis of search engine marketing data, including, but not limited to keyword performance and ad spend.Develop, implement, and manage BI solutions to improve business processes.Develop and maintain analytical dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions.Train and support team members in utilizing BI tools and data interpretation.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics and search engine marketing.You & Your Expertise
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years experience in business intelligence and data analysis.Strong SQL query skills on large data sets.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Preset, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).Experience with Snowflake. Past experience with DBT is a plus.Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with Python / R is a plus.Experience with digital marketing metrics (CPA, CPC, CPM, ROAS) is a plus.Working hours overlapping with 8am - 10am PST/PDT.Apply
