Job Description:The Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, is recruiting a pediatric endocrinologist at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (non-tenure track). Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Responsibilities include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings and teaching pediatric endocrinology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students.The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is dedicated to providing the highest-quality, compassionate, state-of-the-art care for children and families affected by diabetes and other endocrine disorders. We serve more than 1000+ children and young adults with diabetes, have an active diabetes technology program, and are internationally known for our type 1 diabetes research. We are also home to the nation’s largest program for Prader-Willi syndrome and have a multidisciplinary obesity/metabolic program, gender health clinic, bisphosphonate infusion program, and general endocrinology clinics.Required Qualifications:Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida in Pediatrics, and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics or the appropriate subspecialty.Preferred Qualifications:Special Instructions to Applicants:Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three professional references.
