The Director of IT will be responsible for all aspects of IT for a 270+ person robotics startup. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Director of IT will lead a team that will manage IT equipment at all Dexterity offices & labs and provide services to both technical and non-technical users.About DexterityAt Dexterity, we believe robots can positively transform the world. Come join Dexterity and help make intelligent robots a reality!Day to Day ActivitiesManage all IT infrastructure (Network, Compute, Telecom, IDM, VPN) for all office facilities and labs.Lifecycle management and support of employee devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile).Manage ISP, Network and Phone vendor relationships.Manage Software licensing and user management.Manage a small team of employees, provide mentorship and guidance.Implement best practices in Security, High Availability and Business Continuity.Working with external/offshore contractors for equipment and access.Assess system performance and costs on an ongoing basis and constantly implement improvements.Implement and manage AV equipment in conference rooms and demo stations.Work with HR, Facilities, Finance and Product Development to improve internal processes and efficiency.Desired Experience and SkillsDegree in Computer Science or related field.10+ years of relevant Industry experience.Demonstrated technical experience with all of the above activities.Previous experience owning all of IT or a significant portion of IT.Experience with AD, Okta and Google Workspace.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Very good organizational skills and attention to detail.Service mindset.Base pay is one element of our Total Rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity etc., depending on eligibility. The annual base salary range for this position is from $175,000 to $230,000.
