Overview Strategic Corporate Lending (SCL) is a part of the Corporate Bank Trade Finance & Lending Domain. The Information Technology (IT) platform supporting this business is embarking on a major re-architecture initiative to a modern microservices based technology stack. We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer, preferably with knowledge of front-end technologies (React). The role demands a technical specialist who is a highly motivated, independent thinking professional that can help deliver against a large number of initiatives enhancing the capabilities of the current system while modernizing the stack. Reviewing application requirements and interface designsEstimate, design, develop backend services with Java and SpringParticipate in code reviews and writing unit testsTroubleshooting and fixing defectsConfigure environment for backend project deploymentsPromote high design and development standards and mentorship both within and outside the teamSkills You’ll Need

Extensive experience in Java programming, with expertise in Spring frameworks like Spring boot, Hibernate, RESTful Web Services, and MicroservicesExperience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with hands-on experience with least one testing framework: Junit, Cucumber, SeleniumExperience with TeamCity, Jenkins, and GitExperience with Messaging services, such as Kafka/ Message Queue (MQ)Skills That Will Help You Excel

Knowledge of user interface UI technologies, specifically ReactKnowledge on oracle database objects, permissions, and ability to write Structured Query Language (SQL) queriesA passion for problem solving with strong analytical capabilitiesExpectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
