Omnicell is seeking a customer-centric, dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Product Management to spearhead the strategy and execution of our innovative Point of Care Portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage product management team developing new Point of Care solutions
Drive the strategy, definition, and execution of the product roadmap for new integrated hardware/software products
Ensure timely execution of the product release plan in collaboration with program management.
Develop and present executive-level presentations describing the product vision, strategy, and client needs.
Build effective relationships with internal teams such as engineering, design, QA, sales, implementation, and supply chain.
Communicate a high-level client value-based vision for the product and manage detailed execution plans.
Gather and understand customer feedback on existing and developing products, conducting effective interviews to deliver the right solutions
Help teams remove obstacles and prioritize goals and milestones for successful product delivery.
Key Qualifications:
Ability to solve complex business problems and provide ideation for solutions.
Experience managing product portfolios that include both devices with integrated hardware/software and SaaS products.
Ability to unify cross-functional teams behind a common vision and communicate effectively with company leadership.
Strong understanding of P&L and experience in building business models.
Demonstrated ability to translate strategies into clear, measurable goals and objectives.
Skilled in recognizing business, industry, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Proficient in agile methodologies, particularly in delivering software and edge devices.
Experience in building strong relationships across engineering, design, sales, operations, and with clients.
Effective leadership, mentorship, and team motivation skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Proven product management leadership with a minimum of 10 years in integrated hardware and software solutions, including 5 years in senior leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or master’s level degree preferred
Understanding of nursing, pharmacy and pharmacy tech workflows, challenges faced by covered entities and current vendors a plus
Certified Product Manager (CPM)
Work Conditions:
This position is HYBRID out of our Austin, TX, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX or Pittsburgh, PA office.
Management of a remote team
Preference will be given to candidates in the greater Austin area.
This position requires up to 30% US based travel
