Audits/Reviews various aspects of client bank compliance management systems, including but not limited to AML/CFT, lending compliance, deposit/operations compliance, fair lending, CRA, and other regulatory categories.Provides appropriate advice based on the results of audits and reviews.Develops and maintains customer relationships through phone calls, in-person bank visits, regional and national banking events, and virtual visits.Creates and revises compliance policies and procedures, as necessary.Determines appropriate compliance review processes to use during client reviews.Conducts assessments of the effectiveness of the client bank’s existing compliance system.Assists client banks with responses to regulatory findings and/or administrative actions.Drafts written reports addressing the findings of consulting projects, reviews, and audits.Responds to client requests for assistance in a timely and professional manner.Maintains confidentiality and discretion at all times.Recognizes compliance risks across all bank applications.Researches and writes professional articles regarding existing and upcoming regulatory issues.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Maintains appropriate self-discipline to work remotely with limited supervision.Acts independently, manages projects, and meets deadlines with limited supervision.Education & Experience

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field5–10 years of bank compliance experienceKnowledge and understanding of consumer protection laws, regulations, and compliance issuesKnowledge and understanding of Bank Secrecy, Anti-Money Laundering, and related rules and regulations.Regulatory compliance certification preferred (CRCM, CCBCO, CAMS), or willingness to obtainKnowledge and understanding of bank deposit and lending operations, lending activities, and other related consumer banking functionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel 25% including some overnight travelMust have a valid driver’s license in good standing, and a means to travel by automobile and/or airplane.About
