responsible for the electrical and electronic component/subsystem design, and electrical integration into heavy-duty vehicles. This requisition welcomes all levels of engineers with the potential to work with varying projects and responsibilities.Job Responsibilities/FunctionsDesign and release of electrical and electronic components and systems for heavy commercial trucksIntegrate vehicle and drive line controls into vehicle electrical systemsComplete engineering change notice documentation to manage old and new partsLead electronics engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionalityPlan and track validation of componentsSupport launch at truck assembly plants as needed, and resolve field issues as identifiedEnsure industry-leading quality and reliability are met/maintained/exceeded on all componentsWork as part of a multi-disciplinary team with mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other professionalsInvestigate and resolve warranty issues for power train electrical-related claimsTravel up to 15%Qualifications & SkillsB.S. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. The salary range for Embedded Hardware Engineer is $84,000 - $131,700 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
