Horizontal GNSS R&DWhat You Will DoDesign, develop, implement, debug, support, and maintain firmware for Linux-based high-end GNSS receivers.Perform testing and debugging with emulators, debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.Specify and define firmware architecture that can be deployed on multiple operating systems.Collaborate with global operations.Support the ongoing legacy firmware development.Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.Mentor junior engineers technically.What Skills & Experience You Should BringExpert in Linux BSPs, board bring-up, device drivers.Experience working in Embedded Linux, U-Boot, and other real-time operating systems.Working knowledge of networking protocols, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, eMMC, etc.Expert in C programming and GNU C Compiler (GCC).Knowledge of ARM SOC.Experience in either Buildroot or Yocto.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in embedded software development environments.Experience in designing Linux-based Embedded systems is highly desirable.About TrimbleDedicated to the world’s tomorrow, Trimble is a technology company delivering solutions that enable our customers to work in new ways to measure, build, grow, and move goods for a better quality of life.Trimble’s Inclusiveness CommitmentWe believe in celebrating our differences.
