Senior Lead Consultant, Environmental Engineering in Site Solutions

No sponsorship is available for this position.Ramboll is seeking motivated and qualified candidates for a Senior Environmental Engineering Consultant position in our Princeton, New Jersey office. To succeed in this role, candidates must have a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering) from an accredited institution and have 5-10 years of experience in a related field. Click the apply button to send your application!As our new Senior Consultant, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base. Your role and responsibilities will include:Development and implementation of comprehensive site investigations by participating in scope of work development, field work, and data analysis to characterize contaminants in sediments, soil, air, surface water, and groundwater.Evaluation of remedial alternatives and preparation of feasibility studies.Preparation of remedial cost estimates.Design and implementation of various environmental remediation systems (e.g., soil vapor extraction (SVE), enhanced in-situ bioremediation (eISB), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), permeable reactive barriers (PRB), and groundwater extraction and treatment).Coordination and oversight of field work, including site remedial activities and management of subcontractors.Quality assurance/quality control review of project documentation.Assistance with management of project budgets and client communications.Training/mentoring of Consultant-level staff.Preparation and editing of technical and regulatory reports.Your starting point for constant growthFor this role, we believe your starting point is:Bachelor of Science/Engineering, Master of Science/Engineering, or Ph.D. in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.5-10 years of experience with site characterization/remediation is required.Experience with local state regulatory programs.Experience with fate and transport, hydraulic, and/or hydrogeological modeling and GIS mapping is a plus.Knowledge of emerging contaminants, health and safety, and international regulations is a plus.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred for those with Engineering degrees.OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and current refresher training.Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills;Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;Excellent written and oral communication skills;Good time management;Detail-oriented;Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously;Valid driver’s license and good driving record; andWillingness to work outdoors and travel.How to applyApply online.
