Covenant HealthCare US:MI:SAGINAW DAY SHIFT - 80 HOURS PER PAY FULL TIME BENEFITED Summary: The Network Admin I's role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Network Admin I will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. The Network Admin I demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. Responsibilities: Operations Responsibilities Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, and other applications. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports. Other information: Education/Experience: Education/Experience Requirements Associates degree (required), Bachelor's degree (preferred) or commensurate experience. Certifications preferred and/or be willing to pursue certifications. Example Certifications include: Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA); Cisco UCS/Networking (CCNA, CCNP); VMWare (VCP, VCAP); Citrix (CCA, CCP); Red Hat Certified Network Admin Iistrator (RHCSA); Epic (CSM, ODBA). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: VMWare ESXi Administration Resolve technical support issues Create Documentation Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups Managing user access Monitoring system performance Understand Networking (Vlans, Subnets, Sniffer usage etc.) Windows Administrator Specific Responsibilities/Skills Windows Server (Building, Troubleshooting, Administering) Active Directory Administration Citrix Administration Office 365 Administration Azure Administration Powershell Scripting Microsoft SQL (Installing, Basic Setup) Database Administrator Specific Responsibilities/Skills Cache/Iris Administration Microsoft SQL (Installing, Troubleshooting, Administering) Linux Command Line Powershell Scripting Bash Scripting Perl Scripting Python Scripting Linux Administrator Specific Responsibilities/Skills Red Hat Administration Linux Command Line LVM Disk Manager Cache/Iris Administration Bash Scripting Perl Scripting Python Scripting Working Conditions/Physical Demands Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Occasionally standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, twisting and reaching. Occasionally lifting 10-100 lbs.
