We are looking for three
Regional Sales Managers
to join our winning team. These positions will cover sales territories on the East coast, the West Coast, and the Southern Midwest areas respectively. In these roles, you will implement Fastems sales strategy within the region while developing your assigned territory.
To be successful in these positions, you need to have sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
The goal is to maximize and grow revenue and profits selling Fastems solutions to existing customers and acquiring new business. This position will operate on a sales team and be a cooperative team player to ensure team successes. The Regional Sales Manager role is also supported by Inside Sales and Business Development roles. Travel is estimated at 50% or as needed to execute objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and implement effective direct and partner sales strategies; forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM; drive issues to achieve Fastems' sales objectives.Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers' needs. Report market needs to product lines and management.Manage to meet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets to increase profitable sales and build long-term relationships with customers.Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.Meet regularly with existing customers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position Fastems' offering to meet surfaced needs.Execute negotiations with customers and partners to close contracts.Continuously expand customer understanding and use of Fastems' offerings and capabilities.MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Hungry for business, growth, and success both personally and for Fastems.Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a demanding automation solution or system sales business.Technical know-how: experience in sales in the manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry.Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment.A 4-year or master's degree from an accredited university is preferred but not required.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Positive and business-oriented "can do" attitude. Willingness to set challenging targets and achieve them.Has the ability to cooperate, drive negotiations, and close orders.Successfully thrive under high pressure situations while maintaining flexibility, precision, and thoroughness.Knowledgeable about the manufacturing automation business, processes, and best practices required.
