We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.Job Description:The successful candidate will provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to support mission requirements at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). Under general supervision, the candidate is responsible for the following types of functions:Provide and/or oversee ILS for Navy Combat/Weapon Systems.Product Support Management Life Cycle Support Documents Technical Manuals Maintenance Documentation Configuration Management Training Support Supply Support Inventory Management Support Integrated Logistics Team with developing logistics products and processes to meet system operational objectives and readiness.Manage a systems life cycle from design to disposal. Be familiar with and complete tasking in accordance with DoD, DoN, NAVSEA, and NSWC PHD instructions, directives, guidance, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Provide program, project, data, and system engineering management and analysis support in support of Navy Combat/Weapons for internal and external customers. Tasking includes analyzing, reviewing data to help provide recommendations to sponsor and fleet representatives and support the development of presentations, schedules, white papers, strategies, and execution plans for program reviews; address action items; plan, coordinate and participate in meetings and conferences; and research, collect, and disseminate metric data as required.Provide tracking and reporting for current and future projects and assigned actions. Provide logistics support, utilizing a broad background and can-do attitude to develop accurate assessments of logistic product support and combat system readiness.Direct the allocation of materials, supplies, and products.Develop business relationships internally and externally with customers, team members, and outside activities.Understand customer needs and how to meet them. Review logistical functions and identify areas for improvement.Travel less than 10%.Minimum Qualifications:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at anytime in the future.Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance level.High School Diploma or equivalent.3 or more years in coordinating, planning, tracking, and scheduling in a logistician or customer service role.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-starter is a must.Experience utilizing Asset Tracker and PARTS Databases.Microsoft Office (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).Preferred Qualifications:Current Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.Experience supporting US Navy Logistics efforts.Experience with JIRA.Experience with DON/DOD Integrated Product Support Elements.Experience with US NAVY Combat/Weapon Systems Working knowledge of: Naval Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Navy Data Environment (NDE), One Touch, Configuration Data Managers Database Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS).Demonstrated experience assessing program acquisition and sustainment strategies and determining appropriate logistic product support strategy.Demonstrated experience in the technical documentation life cycle development, distribution, and disposal.Demonstrated experience with the development, maintenance, and production of one or more of the following Logistic Program Management plans or presentations: Integrated Logistic Support Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Interim Logistic Support Plans, DMSMS Management Plans, Supply Management Plans, Technical Bulletins, User Logistics Support Summaries, Program Review Technical Presentations Experience using Integrated Development Environments (IDE) to develop or maintain logistic products.Security Clearance:Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
