Must have great attention to detail in scheduling, calendaring, and docketing. Advanced computer skills are necessary. Must have strong communication skills. We work collaboratively and value everyone in our office.Responsibilities

Providing Legal Assistant/Junior Paralegal support to senior paralegals and attorneysResponsible for overseeing scheduling/calendaring/docketing of matters assigned to you to prepare the cases for trial with the senior paralegals and trial attorneysAnswering and directing phone callsCommunicating with clients, counsel, courts in a professional articulate manner verbally and writtenReconciling all PIP Payments and Subrogation LiensAnalysis of medical charges and billing codes for medical treatment provided to persons injured in accidents to accurately determine medical bills that need to be reimbursed from a potential settlementReduction of Medical Bills for settlementsMust be Familiar with ICD 10 Codes, CPT CodesIn depth understanding of Medicare Laws and The Medicare cost procurement formula to obtain Medicare lien reductionsDrafting legal documents and correspondenceE-filing in state and Federal CourtMaintaining and updating contact information of all parties related to mattersMonitoring deadlines and preparing calendar reports for the officeSkills

Proven working experience as a litigation Legal Assistant/Junior ParalegalMastery level understanding of e-filing protocols, and the court systemMastery level experience in day-to-day operations of a personal injury officeMastery level working knowledge of case management softwareMastery level working knowledge of medical billing and billing codesExcellent organizational skillsAbility to multi-task responsibilities and work under pressureDegree, diploma or, certification a plus – but not requiredExperience:
