We aim for a positive, collaborative environment that allows employees to work across departments easily and effectively.Job DescriptionWe are actively hiring for a dedicated General Counsel to lead and manage all legal affairs within the organization. This position will report to the CEO and will provide strategic legal advice and counsel on a diverse array of matters including, but not limited to, contracts and agreements, regulatory compliance, employment law, and intellectual property. This role requires a legal professional who is not only adept at mitigating risks but also at seizing opportunities that align with our business objectives.A Day in the Life:Develop and implement legal strategies that support the company’s business goals. Provide proactive legal advice to the organization.Review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts and customer license agreements ensuring that the company’s interests are protected and regulatory requirements are met.Advise on employment-related matters including employment agreements, employee relations, labor law compliance, and employment litigation.Assist with legal processes related to company expansion, including mergers and acquisitions, international ventures, and strategic partnerships. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in new markets.Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.Represent the company in court and other legal proceedings.Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes, including coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including industry specific regulations.Prepare and file legal documents.
