is seeking a Director of Nursing / Clinical Administrator to join our Long Term Care team leading the clinical operations of our recently opened 60-bed skilled long term care center.Reporting Structure:

The Clinical Administrator reports directly to the Campus Administrator and supervises all managers of clinical services which may include: Clinical Coordinators, Infection Control, Supervisors, Staffing Coordinator, and all RNs, LPNs, Medication Assistants, and Resident Assistants. The Clinical Administrator also oversees the use of contracted services for clinical care and works closely with other members of the campus leadership team.About This CommunityWalnut Ridge is a beautiful senior living community ideally located near I-35/80, adjacent to the walking trails and aquatic center in Clive, in close proximity to several restaurants, retail shops, and medical facilities. The campus is comprised of 116 independent living apartments, 44 assisted living apartments, 18 memory care assisted living apartments, and a skilled care center for 60 residents. The Director of Nursing / Clinical Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, evaluating, and effectively directing the clinical staff and program to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. Specifically:Participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming for high-quality resident care and operational goals.Create and maintain an environment that achieves high-quality care of residents.Establish and maintain effective communication systems with all customers.Oversee the implementation of resident care processes.Oversee and monitor the clinical components of the medical record for completeness and accuracy.Lead and grow members of the team.Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.Three to five (3 - 5) years leadership experience in nursing.Current CPR Certification.Demonstrated competencies in health care management and operations, quality management, staff development, resident and family support systems, and community outreach.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.Ability to communicate effectively with all customers.About PHS
