Our small law firm client (under 15 attorneys) is seeking two Illinois bar admitted litigation associates who have 2-5+ years of creditor’s rights, foreclosure and/or bankruptcy experience. An understanding of Illinois mortgage foreclosure/default law, bankruptcy law, the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is a plus. The firm, however, is willing to train a commercial litigation attorney who is interested in developing an expertise in residential mortgage default foreclosure litigation. This position is currently primarily remote with on-site meetings at the firm’s downtown office on a semi-monthly basis. When the courts, though, return to in-person hearings, this attorney will need to be in court. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who is seeking to practice mortgage foreclosure litigation in a small firm.
