Financial Solutions is regionally anchored as part of the Finance team in Vestas Americas. We create business value by providing financial solutions and support. The Vestas' Americas Finance team is a high value adding department that supports the Sales, Service and Global Developments through the development of dynamic solutions for delivering Vestas' strategy - and ensuring real business and economic value.
Main Tasks:
Lead Financial Solutions in Vestas Americas.Be a strong financial counterpart to our Sales organization and engage directly with customers.Lead and ensure comprehensive collaboration and alignment with Global functions, primarily Group Treasury.Develop and maintain relationships to brokers, investment banks, investors, and lenders to understand available financing options.Maintain or build relationships in the tax equity community and stay on the innovative side of financial structuring from a tax perspective.Arrange financing and financial solutions (equity, construction and long term / PF debt, mezzanine, take-outs) in selected cases.Support our customers in interactions with financial community through the turbine and service sales process and project execution.Risk analysis of potential Financial Solutions and preparation and presentation of investment committees' materials for decision process.
Qualifications for the Role:
Bachelor's degree in economics/ business administration/ engineering.Postgraduate studies will be specially considered (MBA or specific Finance master studies).+5 years' professional experience and documented history in financing.Financing or selling of renewable energy projects in the US market desirable.Experience building and maintaining robust internal & external relationships.High personal drive, independent work style, result oriented and responsive to changing environments.Professional commitment to accountability.Experience in matrixed organization.
