Senior Sales Financial Analyst
you will be a key partner to the Sales department to provide support for the financial aspects of their business to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning, and analysis. You will have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. You can expect to work within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the CFO, VP of Sales, Channel Directors, and Key Account Managers.What you will be doing…Provide financial support to the Sales departmentsManage trade spending analysis and work with account managers and directors to eliminate waste and increase return on promotional investmentRecommend actions to improve product mix, gross margin, as well as customer profitabilityAnalyze monthly variances vs plan, communicate results to the management team, and recommend interventions to ensure target deliverySupport key finance / company-wide planning processes including:
Annual Budget and Estimates throughout the yearMonthly Rolling Net Sales ForecastsSupport of Marketing Plan Dialogue (MPD) & Sales Plan Dialogue (SPD)
Support the preparation of customer negotiations with financial analysis, including financial modeling for new products in the organizationCreate ad hoc reports as needed by supported departments and Finance Senior ManagementDo you have what it takes?(Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s Degree6+ years of Finance experienceSales Finance and Trade Finance experienceProficiency in ExcelStrong knowledge of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred)Ability to drive and implement changeStrong analytical skills and technical abilityStrong communication skillsDo you stand above the rest?(Preferred Qualifications)FMCG / CPG experienceSAP experience (S4 / Hana preferred)
