Responsibilities
Defining Project Roadmap for Data Migration.Develop comprehensive project plans and roadmaps for migrating data to cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Fabric.Define milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the migration process.Stay updated with the latest advancements and emerging technologies in cloud computing and data engineering.Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and solutions that could enhance data architecture and migration strategies.Provide recommendations based on industry trends and best practices.Oversee the migration of data solutions to Microsoft Fabric (formerly Azure Synapse Analytics).Design scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other relevant Microsoft Fabric technologies.Ensure data security, compliance, and optimal performance during migration and post-migration phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Data Engineering Background which includes but not limited to:Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.Ability to architect, implement, and optimize data workflows and pipelines on these platforms.In-depth understanding of data engineering principles, data architecture, and data management practices.Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
