Microbiologist , you will contribute to various laboratory activities and research projects related to microbiology. Your responsibilities will include performing microbiological tests, analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting in data analysis. The ideal candidate should have excellent laboratory skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.The Microbiologist will:Perform microbiological tests and experiments under the supervision of senior microbiologistsPrepare and analyze samples, including isolation, identification, and characterization of microorganismsUtilize a range of techniques and instruments, such as microscopy, PCR, DNA sequencing, culturing, and biochemical assays, to carry out microbiological analysesAssist in the development and optimization of new laboratory protocols and techniquesMaintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental procedures, results, and observationsPrepare media, reagents, and solutions necessary for microbiological testing and researchOperate and maintain laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators, spectrophotometers, and centrifugesCollaborate with other team members to plan and coordinate research activities and experimentsThe Microbiologist has the following qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (required)Experience with biochemical reactions & microbial ID systemsExperience with aseptic techniques
